But you probably can't roll back to that version, because you have to be AAX 64 now that you've updated Pro Tools.Ībout EFX3: I can't find an exact number, but reviews say this plugin has very low latency allowing it's use for live tracking. If you had an old version of autotune live that generated a small enough amount of latency that you didn't notice, I'd say that's your best bet. Some plugins generate more latency than others, usually ones that are doing more processing, so if you're trying to use native plugins in real time, you'll always have input buffer latency (32 samples if you can run that low) and whatever the plugin chain is doing, depending on which plugins are in your chain. Low latency monitoring allows you to use hardware to monitor your inputs before the buffer, but you can't use any native plugins while doing so, because you're hearing the sound before it hits the computer, so the computer can't do any plugins to it, (or they would happen after you're hearing it anyway.) (but that's not the version you bought, and you'll have to buy the UAD version when it comes out)īesides that, every digital system has input buffer latency. When it does, you'll be able to use it as an insert in console while recording with no latency. Autotune for UAD hasn't been released yet. Ummm so first of all, you're talking about a native plugin that's not a UAD thing at all.
